Hello...sorry have been busy

I dont really have any excuses as to why I have been so absent other than my new SLR digital camera which I love and so in two weeks and 1740 photos later, I spend a lot of time on the computer just playing (and deleting pics). I have also kept up my training for the time trial in Jan and that has been going well. I mean here we are Christmas Eve and at 4pm I was out doing motorpacing behind Shane driving my car (I could have been doing family and friend stuff...but no...must keep to the program). I have had a couple of days early in the week where I found the efforts were just too hard as my legs were dead....but overall going well and I just hope that my6 focus on cadence hasnt cost me too much strength as the course profile

On top of all of this it looks like I wont be going back on road as a paramedic in a long drawn out battle with the ambulance service at the moment. It is a long story and I had a meeting in Melbourne on Tuesday about it. This is not the palce to write all about it as there were some positives, but I still cry when I think about it all as it has been a very difficult few months for me....havent said much about it before as no decisions had been made, but now my career is at a crossroad (again).....I just try to stay focussed and happy and think of all of the good things...I have also registered a business for photography (I am a beginner and have loads to learn), but actionpactpix is the name of the business and you can see the beginnings at http://www.actionpactpix.com/

So that is my news at the moment here........Bike training has been consistent and my racing has been a bit unpredictable as I am doing a lot of steady state and that is not ideal when people attack bunches in races, but hopefully I will race the best time trial ever on January 6th.

Thank you to everyone who has read my blog, sorry I have been around less lately, I have read a few entries from time to time, but overall have spent computer time with photos. I hope you all have an awesome Christmas and New Years, I have found you all to be very inspiring and at times, even though I havent met you, you all make me smile and just help to cement that faith in friendship. (Must be having a deep and inspired moment.......but I do mean it........) Will try to update my training more in the next two weeks before the big time trial and keep up to date with your lives as well.....

Training at Christmas? I hope you are not out motorpacing right now! Then again - the roads are probably empty and ideal for such an undertaking!

Anyway - I wish Shane and you a very enjoyable and peaceful festive season and lots of podium finishes in 2010!

Groover I hope you and Alberto have a great 2010 and lots of riding challenges.
2010 - It has to be a good year as 2009 was not that great.....but I have made some new starts - new projects and just wich we had more hours in a day.....
