Post night shift

OK...two night shifts down and I feel like I have been run over by a bus.....walked the crazy boofhead and will just get some housework done and then head out on the bike for an easy 60km (or so.....when Shane gets home from work.) I have been reading blogs today and I am totally inspired by how hard some people train, and I train hard, but find I get moody and get the "I cant be bothereds" sometimes...but I do stick to my coach's training plan.....Just need to keep my head high and positive thoughts about my riding...so it is all good...I might even get some tips on how to ride better pursuits as Shane and I definately want to be more specific for next year and we only live 500metres from an outdoor velodrome (cant ask for more than that).

Time for coffee and to get some stuff done for the accountant!

Lucky you! I would love to live close to a velodrome. We have 2 in Texas, the closest being about 160 miles away.

You ride on the track, too! Good on ya. The thought of riding a bike with fixed gear and no brakes scares the shit out of me. But I am thinking about getting a Single Speed/Fixie for commuting (just to get the hang of it). Two friends of mine are trying to talk me into the whole racing track idea ...
