Time Trial

OK, just a quick note - tomorrow is the Bairnsdale club (next town) ITT championships and although it is not my club, we have asked permission and been told we can ride the champs...not for prizes as we dont qualify but to get some TT practice in. I think I am going to try my disc wheel (wind being the deciding factor), or I can use the Gravity Zeros I rode last week.

(as in the picture)

I love my TT bike and the helmet!....so the plan tomorrow is to ride fast and have fun.......Time Trials are never fun and if anyone tells you they are then they are joking and the other thign tomorrow is to test my Disc and see how that feels, it is about testing equiment more than anything tomorrow.....

Good luck! I'm sure you'll do great.

I like your back to basics thought. They (psychologists) say we can only remember 4 things at a time, so pick your 4 basic things and do well! Good luck on the time trial.

How come TT's aren't fun for you (or anyone). Is it the pressure?

Thanks Mike, 331 and Donna and time trials are just no rest - you have to give 100 percent for all fo the event - road races you can sit in and rest a bit in some cases, but always ready for the next jump. Time Trials are hard and a real test....

PS Donna I do enjoy time trials and finishing but during the event they are hard work...This one was a shocker as it was undulating and there was no getting into a rhythm and just hammering, you were up hill then down hill (undulating rises), it was hard work

Hey DTWOLBNF - If you get a TT bike, you dont have to remember to take the bars on and off....
